Data Deletion Instructions

How to request and perform complete removal of your personal and workspace data from MSGTODAY.

MSGTODAY values your privacy and provides full control over the personal data we store on our servers. In compliance with Meta Platforms policies for apps accessing the WhatsApp Business APIs and related products, this page outlines how you can remove your account, workspace data, and Meta platform links.

1. Deleting Your Data via Dashboard

You can request deletion of your entire workspace directly from your MSGTODAY account dashboard. If you delete a workspace, all associated contacts, conversation history, templates, and workspace member profiles are marked for immediate deletion and permanently purged from our active databases.

Follow these steps to delete your workspace data:

  1. Log in to your MSGTODAY Dashboard.
  2. Go to Settings using the sidebar navigation.
  3. Navigate to the Workspace Settings tab.
  4. Scroll down to the Danger Zone section.
  5. Click on Delete Workspace and confirm by typing your workspace name.

2. Removing MSGTODAY Permissions from Your Meta/Facebook Account

If you have linked your Meta/Facebook business page or WhatsApp Business Profile to MSGTODAY via our embedded Meta signup, you can revoke access and remove the app integrations at any time:

  1. Log in to your Facebook Account and go to Settings & Privacy > Settings.
  2. Scroll down on the left menu and select Apps and Websites.
  3. Find the MSGTODAY app in the active list.
  4. Click the Remove button next to the app name.
  5. Select the option to remove all post and page permissions and click Remove.

3. Manual Data Deletion Request (Support Callback)

If you do not have active access to your dashboard or would like our team to manually verify the deletion of your account and metadata, you can submit a request directly:

  • Email: Send an email to privacy@msgtoday.com with the subject line "Request Data Deletion".
  • Details needed: Please include your full name, registered email address, and workspace name.
  • Resolution: Our privacy officer will process your request, completely delete your account database records, and confirm deletion via email within 48 to 72 hours.

4. Data Retention and Backups

Upon request or self-deletion, your active workspace database entries are removed instantly. We retain system backups and application logs for up to 90 days solely for disaster recovery, auditing, and preventing system fraud. After 90 days, all backup snapshots are automatically and permanently overwritten.
